Scotland is served by an excellent choice of direct air links to/from most UK cities, as well as an excellent service bringing the islands of the west and Scotland's outer islands within easy reach. Numerous transatlantic flights and services from the east with Emirates serve both Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports.
All airports have good onward connections to nearby towns and cities in Scotland,
either by train, bus or airport taxis.
The major airports also have full 'bureau de change' facilities.
For flight options, we would recommend Flybe and British Airways.
Flybe is now Europe’s largest regional low-cost airline. Following the successful acquisition of BA Connect in March 2007, the route network is 70% domestic UK, 20% European business and 10% European leisure destinations.
British Airways is a full service international airline, offering year-round low fares with an extensive global route network flying to and from centrally located airports.
